Our Mission: Venture Theatre is committed to theatre as art and exists as a venue that will not only contribute to the cultural life of the community but will also serve to test and stretch the abilities of the artists involved with the theatre.
Year long, there is a something happening at Venture Theatre:
•At least 5 “mainstage shows” featuring some of Montana’s most talented actors
•Venture Improv is Montana’s “longest running show” and features the talents of the area’s finest improvisational comedians
•Local students can audition for the Venture Youth Conservatory productions, of which there are at least 10 per year
•Performance classes in acting, dance and voice are offered for students 3 years of age and older
•Venture runs a summer theatre school which is among the most successful in the region, servicing more than 200 students each year over four weeks in late summer
•Venture Theatre also produces a school-based program called “Venture Into Schools,” in which Venture partners with local schools to bring arts programming into the classrooms across the region
•Venture Theatre also offers Play Reading Nights where theatre artists can meet with audiences to hear new plays being read. Readings are free and open to the public
