The Kevin Locke Native Dance Ensemble Date / Time    02/27/2010   7:30pm Venue Alberta Bair Theater Recent appearances at the opening of the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, a follow-up performance at NMAI in New York City, the World Culture Open at the Lincoln Center (sponsored in part by the United Nations), and a residency at the University of Arizona have all been met with high acclaim. A blur of movement, visionary hoop dancing, dazzling fancy dancing, elegant traditional dancing, soaring powwow vocals, powerful drums, ancient flute songs, cultural insight, Northern Plains sign language, authentic stories of the First Nations – A performance to remember.
