Holiday Cabaret! Related Event: One Act Play Festival! ( 01/06/2010 )
Venture Underground presents the annual Holiday Cabaret!
The holidays are made for music and laughter and the Venture Cabaret is your chance to hear some of the marvelous talent that springs eternal in our fair city.
Each night features a different musical production from 10-12 actors and singers who grew up in the Billings area. Some have escaped the “Magic City” for the big city, some are attending college, some still call Montana home.
The cabaret format is a little unpredictable, a little candid, but filled with big talent. Come enjoy a festive smorgasbord of talent, both solos and ensemble pieces, from some of your favorite personalities performing both musical standards and new work from on and off Broadway. All three shows will be performed in the Roebling Theatre.
Singers include: Anne Middleton, Seth Sommerfeld, Max Peterson, Shea Tomich, Erin Claxton, Michael Stenberg, Marissa Kaye, Caitlin McRae and Carolyn Coefield.
Additional actors and singers from these popular shows will also be performing: from RENT - Joseph Baken, Elliot Peterson and Christae Evanson; from Peter Pan - Tiffany Melia; from Producers, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - Chae Clearwood; from Reefer Madness - Amber Sommerfeld; and from Cabaret - Elizabeth Allen, Kevin Schweigert and Amber Barnes.
The show dates and times are 7:30pm, Monday, December 28, and 7:30pm, Tuesday, December 29 and 8pm, Friday, January 1. Tickets are just $10 and available during Box Office hours.
