| The Billings Cultural Partners (BCP) was formed in 1997 through the grassroots efforts of local residents who wanted to express unique aspects of local heritage and culture in ways that recognize their economic and cultural importance to Billings. Since then, BCP has helped to define Billings’ unique character and appeal. Comprised of 25 nonprofit arts, historical organizations, and local government representatives, BCP serves as a collaborative vehicle to address cooperation and funding opportunities, thus improving access to arts and culture, supporting art educational opportunities, entertainment, strengthening the existing cultural institutions and enhancing the city. |

| Alberta Bair Theater

| The Alberta Bair Theater brings the excitement of the performing arts to the people of the Northern Rockies. With a 1,410 seating capacity, it attracts national and international renowned touring companies as well as culturally diverse entertainment. The Theater also provides a home for local cultural and civic groups such as Rimrock Opera and the Billings Symphony. The ABT often has half-priced walk up tickets available on the day of the show on any unsold seats. It's as easy and often as inexpensive as going to the movies. |

Our building is an historic Billings destination, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally, it was the Parmly Billings LIbrary, built in 1901 by Billings' founder as a memorial to his son, Parmly. Within the beautiful old oak galleries are changing exhibits where the strories of peoples of the Yellowstone River Valley unfold.
The historically-accurate paintings and original log cabin studio home of western artist J.K. Ralston are part of the Westernh Heritage Center's permanent collections. |

| Pompeys Pillar

Pompeys Pillar is one of the most famous sandstone buttes in America. The Pillar overlooks the Yellowstone River about 25 miles east of Billings, Montana. It bears the only remaining physical evidence of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, which appears on the trail today as it did 200 years ago. On the face of the 150-foot butte, Captain William Clark carved his name on July 25, 1806, during his return to the United States through the beautiful Yellowstone Valley.
