Billings Cultural Partners
 
The Billings Cultural Partners (BCP) was formed in 1997 through the grassroots efforts of local residents who wanted to express unique aspects of local heritage and culture in ways that recognize their economic and cultural importance to Billings. Since then, BCP has helped to define Billings’ unique character and appeal. Comprised of 25 nonprofit arts, historical organizations, and local government representatives, BCP serves as a collaborative vehicle to address cooperation and funding opportunities, thus improving access to arts and culture, supporting art educational opportunities, entertainment, strengthening the existing cultural institutions and enhancing the city.

Alberta Bair Theater
 
The Alberta Bair Theater brings the excitement of the performing arts to the people of the Northern Rockies. With a 1,410 seating capacity, it attracts national and international renowned touring companies as well as culturally diverse entertainment. The Theater also provides a home for local cultural and civic groups such as Rimrock Opera and the Billings Symphony. The ABT often has half-priced walk up tickets available on the day of the show on any unsold seats. It's as easy and often as inexpensive as going to the movies.

Billings Symphony Society
 
Maestra Ann Harrigan and the 135 musicians of the Billings Symphony Orchestra and Chorale invite you to join them for live symphonic music with internationally recognized guest artists. While most performances are at the Alberta Bair Theater, the Symphony performs in schools, offers workshops for students and celebrates Billings each year at Symphony in the Park.

Channel 7 - Public Access TV
 
Channel 7 is a true friend to the community with its commitment to air community events and contribute to cultural awareness. Visit Channel 7’s web site to get information about programs and scheduling for the week.

Moss Mansion
 
Step into history with a one-hour guided tour of the Moss Mansion Historic House Museum. The tour captures early turn-of-the-century life as the Preston Boyd Moss family lived it. Visitors see original draperies, fixtures, furniture, Persian carpets and artifacts displayed in the 1903 red sandstone structure.

MetraPark
 
MetraPark, located in Billings, is Montana’s center for events! It is a multi-facility event venue, the largest of its kind within a 5 state region with professional management solely dedicated to the events business. MetraPark serves a primary market area of more than 250 miles in every direction.

Parmly Billings Library
 
Parmly Billings Library is the community’s center providing access to the world of social and cultural ideas. The Library ignites a passion for reading, lifelong learning, intellectual pursuits, and community involvement to improve and maintain quality of life for patrons of all ages.

Rimrock Opera
 
The Rimrock Opera Company, formed in 1998, produces high quality grand opera in Billings. National and international artists join regional vocal talent and orchestra in two major productions per season at the Alberta Bair Theater.

Venture Theater
 
Venture Theatre is a not-for-profit community theatre nestles in Billings' vibrant, eclectric historic distric. For more than a decade, Venture Theatre has remained committed to redefining community theatre. Venture consistently provides Billings and the region with an adventurous, challenging, relevant venue of entertainment. Each season a collection of productions is delivered with the promise to entertain and is certain to inspire reflection, hearty conversation and no doubt, laughter.

Western Heritage Center
 
Our building is an historic Billings destination, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Originally, it was the Parmly Billings LIbrary, built in 1901 by Billings' founder as a memorial to his son, Parmly. Within the beautiful old oak galleries are changing exhibits where the strories of peoples of the Yellowstone River Valley unfold.

The historically-accurate paintings and original log cabin studio home of western artist J.K. Ralston are part of the Westernh Heritage Center's permanent collections.

Yellowstone Art Museum
 
Contemporary and historic work from nationally and internationally acclaimed artists are featured in changing exhibitions at the largest and most comprehensive art museum in Montana. A first-class Montana collection showcases Russell Chatam, Deborah Butterfield and more. View the largest public collection of cowboy artist and writer Will James.

Yellowstone Public Radio
 
Montana’s public broadcasting station at 91.7 in Billings Montana. It is a culturally rich station with public arts and community events broadcasted daily.

YMCA Writer's Voice
 
The Writer's Voice is a literary program of the Billings YMCA.

The YMCA Writer's Voice assists emerging artists and writers in their artistic and professional development, and provides public programs enriching all sectors of the community with emphasis on arts education for rural youth.

Yellowstone County Museum
 
The Yellowstone County Museum was founded in 1953 by a group of local individuals including Judge Ben Harwood, Paul McCormick, Jr., and Peter Yegen, Jr. with the support of the Yellowstone Historical Society, Parmly Billings Library, the Pioneers of Eastern Montana, Yellowstone County, and the City of Billings.

Yellowstone Chamber Players
 
More music for more Montanans

The Yellowstone Chamber Players is a performing group of professional musicians living in the Billings area. Unique in the state of Montana, this group has flexibility and personnel to present a wide variety of chamber music, from string quartets, piano quintets,and wind quintets to small ensembles employing voice, and guitar.

Yellowstone County Commission
 
The mission of Yellowstone County is to improve the function of County government to serve its citizens and the region as efficiently and cost effectively as possible through joint effort of our employees and leadership.

Rocky Mountain College
 
Founded in 1878, Rocky Mountain College in Billings is Montana's oldest institution of higher learning and one of the most distinctive in the American West. For eight consecutive years, Rocky has been ranked in the top 10 best comprehensive colleges in the West by U.S. News & World Report. A private comprehensive college offering more than twenty-seven liberal arts and professionally oriented majors, Rocky has approximately 1,000 students who come from thirty-seven states and twenty countries.

Pompeys Pillar
 
Pompeys Pillar is one of the most famous sandstone buttes in America. The Pillar overlooks the Yellowstone River about 25 miles east of Billings, Montana. It bears the only remaining physical evidence of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, which appears on the trail today as it did 200 years ago. On the face of the 150-foot butte, Captain William Clark carved his name on July 25, 1806, during his return to the United States through the beautiful Yellowstone Valley.


Billings Community Band
 
The Billings Community Band is dedicated to encouraging musicians of all ages to pursue music as a lifelong endeavor.

Artwalk
 
The Downtown Billings Artwalk takes place the first Friday in February, May, August, October, and December. Five wonderful, lively, art-filled evenings in downtown Billings. Join us! Approximately 32 galleries and businesses participate in the Artwalk

Downtown Billings Alliance
 
The focus of the Downtown Billings Association, as a member-driven organization, is to provide leadership in the promotion, advocacy, and support of Downtown Billings as the vital center of our community

The Billings Business Improvement District is dedicated to improving the cleanliness, appearance, and perception of safety in Downtown Billings to further enhance and make Billings a vibrant destination for visitors, residents, owners, employees, and students.

Big Sky Economic Development Authority
 
At Big Sky EDA, our mission is to facilitate the development of business that supports our community and quality of life. In doing this, we help to expand, grow and diversify the economy of the Billings region and Yellowstone County.
